Education 2

‘If you’re not prepared to be wrong, you won’t come up with anything original.’

This is one of my favourite Ted Talks: Ken Robinson – Schools Kills Creativity. Ken Robinson – aka God of Education – looks at how we are ‘squandering’ the talents of today’s children in schools, and  he observes that ‘we are educating people out of their creativity capacities’. Today’s world is changing fast and he argues how important it is to have creativity for the uncertain future. He wants us to make education useful for everyone not just university professors.

But anyway, he talks of Shakespeare as a child in his English class, cute children and educational reform which is all very inspiring and you should definitely check it out.
